Long-acting CJC-1295: GH and IGF-I responses
Teichman SL et al. · Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism March 2006
Study question & design
Two randomized, placebo-controlled studies examined a long-acting CJC-1295 analog in healthy adults over 28 and 49 days.
Reported findings
Growth hormone and IGF-I concentrations increased for several days, consistent with prolonged exposure to the studied analog.
Limits of interpretation
The long-acting formulation is not the no-DAC presentation. Endocrine biomarkers do not demonstrate improvements in recovery, strength or longevity, and this was not a combination study.
Ipamorelin after bowel surgery: a proof-of-concept trial
Beck DE et al. · International Journal of Colorectal Disease December 2014
Study question & design
A double-blind phase 2 study evaluated ipamorelin against placebo after bowel resection; 114 participants were included in the safety and modified intention-to-treat populations.
Reported findings
Median time to tolerating a solid meal was numerically shorter with ipamorelin, but the difference was not statistically significant.
Limits of interpretation
The trial concerns postoperative gastrointestinal recovery and ipamorelin alone. It does not establish effectiveness of the institutional portfolio’s combination.
These notes describe selected publications, not a systematic review. They provide no dosing or treatment instructions. A published study does not establish the identity, purity, safety, efficacy or regulatory approval of an AUVYRON product.
