A responsive hydrogel for radiation-injury models

Yu X et al. · Bioactive Materials
September 2026 · online 21 April 2026

Study question & design
A hydrogel combined GHK-Cu with antioxidant carbon dots and a responsive polymer network for experimental radiation-induced skin injury.
Reported findings
Cell and in vivo experiments reported reduced oxidative damage and inflammation, alongside improved wound-healing measures with the composite material.
Limits of interpretation
The intervention contained multiple active and structural components. It was not a human trial or a comparison establishing the effects of standalone GHK-Cu.

Preclinical · engineered formulation

A food-derived hydrogel carrying GHK-Cu

Chen H et al. · Biomaterials Research
3 February 2025

Study question & design
Investigators developed a self-repairing dressing using egg-white material, oxidized konjac glucomannan and GHK-Cu.
Reported findings
The composite showed antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity and supported tissue-repair measures in the experimental wound setting.
Limits of interpretation
Evidence concerns the complete dressing and its delivery characteristics. Clinical benefit and the performance of an unrelated product preparation were not established.

These notes describe selected publications, not a systematic review. They provide no dosing or treatment instructions. A published study does not establish the identity, purity, safety, efficacy or regulatory approval of an AUVYRON product.
